Physarum Simulations


These are a couple of physarum, or slime-mold, simulations I created as a hobby project. The first is a sandbox where several aspects of the simulation are exposed and can be manipulated. It also includes four presets to give the user a starting point for experimentation, highlighting the difference that changing these variables can make. The Physarum Sandbox can be found here.

The second simulation builds on this concept, taking a physarum simulation and combining it with an audio visualizer. The result is a simulation that alters several parameters based on the song selection, Please note that it currently only works within Firefox. You can find it here.

What I Did on This Project
